This company is unable to build trust in customers. They never deliver on time. The response rate of the writers is slow. They are scamming the people by using different tricks.

The writers don't have any support for the patrons once they place an order. Buyers notice difficulties within the worth calculator, communication with writers, and management in addition. When you fulfil all the wants of the order they do not notice any support of further omission or addition within the running order. Also, the writers don't show flexibility once order completion.

              Student Reviews of BritishEditing.co.uk

Alice D. - University of Edinburgh, English Literature (June 2026)

I submitted my dissertation introduction to BritishEditing.co.uk for proofreading and editing and received it back with virtually no changes made to the actual prose. Grammatical errors I had already identified myself remained unchanged, and a dangling modifier that my supervisor had specifically flagged was left completely untouched. When I complained, they sent the document back "re-edited" with only surface-level comma changes. BritishEditing charged me £180 for what amounted to running a basic spell-checker. Their advertised claims of "expert academic editors" are completely false based on my experience.

Michael T. - University of Birmingham, History (May 2026)

BritishEditing returned my 8,000-word history dissertation with changes that actually introduced new errors. The editor altered my accurate citation of "Hobsbawm, E. (1994)" to "Hobsbaum, E. (1994)"—misspelling the historian's name—and changed technically correct historical terminology to incorrect alternatives in several places. I had submitted a well-researched piece and received back something with more errors than I started with. The editor clearly had no specialist knowledge of historical methodology or the appropriate academic conventions for history dissertations. Requesting a re-edit was refused without additional payment.

Rachel S. - University of Bristol, Law (April 2026)

I paid BritishEditing £240 to proofread a legal essay on UK employment law. The returned document had OSCOLA references reformatted incorrectly throughout—the editor clearly did not know this referencing style and changed correctly formatted citations into an inconsistent mixture of OSCOLA and something resembling Harvard. My law tutor pointed out that the citation changes were wrong. When I contacted BritishEditing they insisted the changes were "stylistically appropriate" despite having no understanding of legal referencing conventions. The editor appears to have had no specialist knowledge of UK legal academic writing whatsoever.

              James L. - King's College London, Medicine (March 2026)

I sent my medical school dissertation on clinical pharmacology to BritishEditing for structural editing. The returned document had sections reorganised in a way that destroyed the logical flow of my argument. The introduction had been partially moved into the methodology section, and the conclusion references literature not established in the body of the work. My supervisor described the revised structure as "incoherent." BritishEditing's restructuring actually required me to spend more time correcting their changes than I would have spent writing the original from scratch. They refused to take responsibility and offered only a 10% discount on future orders.

Zara P. - Newcastle University, Psychology (February 2026)

BritishEditing edited my psychology research report and changed several APA 7th edition citations to an incorrect APA 6th edition format. APA updated significantly between editions and the differences matter academically. More seriously, the editor changed my use of gender-neutral language to gendered alternatives in a paper specifically about gender inclusivity—demonstrating a complete misunderstanding of the subject matter and contemporary academic standards. When I pointed out these changes, BritishEditing said their editor had "many years of experience" but could not explain why they had applied an outdated citation format. No refund was offered.

Tom K. - University of Sheffield, Engineering (January 2026)

BritishEditing delivered my edited engineering dissertation 7 days after the promised return date. I had specified a firm deadline because I needed time to incorporate feedback before submission. Despite multiple messages asking for a status update, I received only one response saying it was "nearly complete." The edited version finally arrived one day before my submission deadline, leaving me with no time to review the changes properly. When the time-limited editing service they offered explicitly promised a 48-hour turnaround, delivering after 7 days is an outright breach of their stated service terms. They refused any compensation or refund.

Chloe B. - University of Exeter, Business (December 2025)

The editing service provided by BritishEditing.co.uk changed my clearly British English dissertation to American English spellings throughout. Terms like "organisation" became "organization," "behaviour" became "behavior," and "programme" became "program"—all wrong for a UK university submission. I had to go through the entire 12,000-word document manually to correct hundreds of spelling changes. The editor also removed the Oxford commas I had deliberately included as per my department's style guide. BritishEditing denied this was their error, claiming "both spellings are acceptable"—which is true generally but completely inappropriate for a UK academic submission. Avoid this service entirely.
